Colorado shooting suspect charged
The suspect in Monday’s mass shooting in Boulder, CO was charged with 10 counts of murder yesterday. A motive for the attack has not yet been identified. The shooting comes amid an ongoing debate over gun control legislation, with the Senate Judiciary Committee holding a previously-scheduled hearing on the issue yesterday (watch), the House approving two background-check related bills earlier this month, and President Biden calling on Congress to address gun violence.
