House approves two bills focused on gun background checks

The House passed two bills focused on background checks for gun purchases yesterday. The bills seek to expand background checks for online, private, and other gun purchases and extend the background check window from three to 10 days. The bills were passed largely along party lines and would require a 60-vote majority to be approved in the Senate.
