Tech CEOs testify on misinformation
The CEOs of Google, Facebook, and Twitter will testify during a House committee hearing on social media’s role in promoting “extremism and misinformation” today. The hearing comes as social media and technology platforms face intense scrutiny over the content shared on their platforms and their content moderation practices, including calls for a review of Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act.
