Senate releases report on US Capitol attack
Separately, the Senate released a bipartisan report on the US Capitol attack. The report details “a number of intelligence and security failures” leading up to the attack, including federal agencies failing to warn of potential violence and Capitol Police demonstrating a lack of planning and preparation (source).
