Pfizer coronavirus vaccine effective in 12-15-year-olds

Pfizer announced that its coronavirus vaccine is 100% effective in 12-15-year-olds based on results from late-stage clinical trials. The vaccine (developed in partnership with BioNTech) is one of three that has received US authorization for adults. Pfizer plans to request FDA authorization for adolescent use in the coming weeks.
