NY approves recreational marijuana
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo signed a bill yesterday legalizing recreational marijuana for adults over the age of 21, paving the way for recreational sales to begin next year. New York is the 16th state to legalize adult use of marijuana and the second-most populous state to do so (after California).
