Microsoft acquires Nuance
Microsoft announced plans to acquire Nuance Communications for $20B. Nuance offers AI-powered speech recognition and transcription tools for healthcare providers and other industries. The transaction is part of Microsoft’s broader “Cloud for Healthcare” initiative (announced in 2020).
