Federal judge blocks restrictions on Chinese smartphone company
A federal judge temporarily blocked US restrictions on Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi. The company was designated as a “Chinese Communist military company” under the Trump administration in January, making it subject to a November executive order prohibiting US investment in firms that are linked to the Chinese military.
