GenSight Biologics publishes study on partially recovered vision for blind man
GenSight Biologics announced the first peer-reviewed documentation of partial visual recovery for a blind patient with late-stage inherited retinal disease. The study used a technique called optogenetics, which uses flashes of light to control gene expression and neuron firing.
