G7 leaders pledged to donate 1B coronavirus vaccines to lower-income nations, including 500M previously announced by the US. The announcement came on the final day of the G7 Summit, which covered a wide range of topics (including international trade and climate change).
Extra: A spokesperson for the Chinese embassy in London criticized certain remarks made by G7 leaders, saying that “the days when global decisions were dictated by a small group of countries are long gone.”
