The US economy added 266k jobs in April, falling well below economist expectations of ~1M. The leisure and hospitality sector saw the largest absolute increase in jobs (331k), while professional and business services saw the largest decline (79k). Meanwhile, the unemployment rate increased slightly to 6.1%.
