The New Paper was founded with a clear mission: overcome sensationalism in the media by making straightforward, factual news easy to consume.
Too often news reporting starts with opinion or second order conclusions (rather than a common set of facts) and relentlessly bombards readers with information (from clickbait push notification to never-ending feeds).
We aim to bring clarity to this noisy environment by putting facts up front and delivering meaningful information as conveniently as possible for readers.
Since our content is not sensational, we unfortunately don't get the benefit of our stories "going viral" like many other publishers. As a result, we rely on our readers sharing TNP for our continued growth.
