Three amateur cryptologists deciphered a coded message sent by the Zodiac killer to a San Francisco newspaper in 1969. The infamous serial killer was tied to five murders in the Bay Area in the late 1960s and claimed to have killed 37 people in total. The case was never solved, and the killer’s identity remains unknown.
