White House announces plans to begin distributing Johnson and Johnson vaccine

The White House announced plans to begin distributing Johnson & Johnson’s coronavirus vaccine next week, pending FDA approval. While the vaccine will initially be available in limited quantities (3-4M), J&J said earlier this week that it expects 20M doses to be available by the end of March.

More context: The FDA published a report yesterday finding that J&J's single-dose vaccine is safe and effective, paving the way for emergency use authorization as early as this weekend. If authorized, the vaccine would be the third to receive emergency approval in the US (joining Pfizer and Moderna).
