Walmart announces shoppable livestream pilot with TikTok

Walmart announced plans to pilot TikTok’s “shoppable” streaming platform. As part of the pilot, Walmart will host a livestream with 10 TikTok creators and allow users to shop for featured items directly in the TikTok app. TikTok is one of several technology platforms to invest in e-commerce focused integrations, joining Facebook, Google, and Instagram.
