DHS grants Temporary Protected Status to Venezuelan nationals

The Department of Homeland Security designated Venezuela for Temporary Protected Status. The designation allows certain Venezuelan nationals to apply for protected status and remain in the US for the next 18 months due to “extraordinary and temporary conditions” that prevent them from returning safely.
