Uber reclassifies UK workers
Uber reclassified its UK drivers as “workers,” granting them benefits including paid holidays and a minimum wage. The decision follows a court mandate in February, and comes amid a broader debate on how to classify and compensate gig-economy workers (including legislation approved in California last year)
