President Trump nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett to join the Supreme Court on Saturday. Barrett clerked for the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and taught at Notre Dame Law School before being appointed as a federal judge in 2017. Senate confirmation hearings are expected to begin in October.
