Terror attacks in Afghanistan and Austria

At least 22 people were killed by gunmen at Kabul University in Afghanistan yesterday. ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack, which Afghan President Ashraf Ghani described as a “despicable act of terror.” The shooting marks the second deadly attack on an educational institution in Kabul in the last 10 days, following a bombing that killed 24 people on October 24.

Extra: In a separate and unrelated attack, four people were killed (and 17 were injured) in a shooting in Vienna, Austria yesterday that officials described as an act of terrorism.
