Severe cyclone stikes in India

A severe cyclone struck in India this week, killing at least 16 people and causing widespread property damage and flooding. The cyclone also stranded three ships carrying ~700 people off the coast of India and caused one ship to sink. The Indian Navy has rescued 177 of the 270 people on the sunken ship, and recovery efforts are ongoing.
