Senate confirms Yellen as Treasury Secretary

The Senate confirmed Janet Yellen as Treasury Secretary yesterday. Yellen previously served as Chair of the Federal Reserve under the Obama and Trump administrations from 2014 to 2018. She is the first woman to lead the Treasury Department in its 232-year history.
