The Senate voted to confirm Amy Coney Barrett’s Supreme Court nomination last night. The party-line vote was followed by a swearing-in ceremony at the White House, and Barrett can begin hearing new cases as soon as today. Barrett is the third Supreme Court justice to be appointed by President Trump, following Justices Neil Gorsuch (appointed in 2017) and Brett Kavanaugh (2018).
