Senate Judiciary Committee approves SCOTUS nomination

The Republican-led Senate Judiciary Committee voted to advance Amy Coney Barrett's Supreme Court nomination today. Democratic members of the committee boycotted the vote. Barrett's nomination will now go to a full Senate vote, which is expected to take place on Monday.
