Supreme Court nomination hearings begin

The Senate Judiciary Committee began confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett this morning. If the committee votes to approve Barrett following the four-day hearing this week, the nomination will move to a full Senate vote (as early as this month).
