Russian protests continue

Tens of thousands of protesters gathered in Russia yesterday to demand the release of opposition leader Alexei Navalny, marking the second consecutive weekend of widespread demonstrations. Navalny (the most prominent political opponent to President Putin) was detained in January after returning from Germany, where he was recovering after being poisoned with a nerve agent last August.
