PayPal launches crypto checkout feature

PayPal announced the launch of “Checkout with Crypto” today. The new feature allows PayPal customers with cryptocurrency holdings in the US to check out at “millions of global online businesses” using one of four cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum, or Bitcoin Cash). The announcement follows a platform released by PayPal last year that allowed customers to buy, sell, and hold the currencies and comes amid growing adoption of digital assets more broadly.
