Kidnapped Nigerian students returned
Nigerian officials announced that over 300 students who were kidnapped from a boarding school last week have been returned. Islamist militant group Boko Haram reportedly claimed responsibility for the kidnapping earlier this week. If confirmed, the kidnapping would mark the third major abduction led by Boko Haram in the past six years (and the second since 2018).
