Neera Tanden nomination withdrawn

The Biden administration withdrew its nomination of Neera Tanden for Director of the Office of Management and Budget yesterday. Tanden faced pushback in the Senate for a series of past tweets criticizing lawmakers and noted that there is “no path forward to gain confirmation” in a letter released yesterday. A new nominee has not yet been announced.
