Moderna begins pediatric trials for coronavirus vaccine
Moderna began pediatric trials for its coronavirus vaccine for children between 6 months and 11 years old. Vaccine efforts to date have largely focused on the adult population, and Moderna’s vaccine previously received emergency use authorization from the FDA in December for individuals age 18 and older.
