McDonald’s, Chipotle, and other US restaurants plan to raise wages

McDonald’s, Chipotle, and several other US restaurants announced plans to raise wages, as many businesses struggle to find hourly workers as the pandemic eases. Meanwhile, Amazon shared plans to hire ~75k new workers, extending a hiring spree after hiring 500k workers in 2020 and raising wages in April.
