Lebanese prosecutors announce charges related to port explosion
Lebanese prosecutors filed negligence charges against caretaker Prime Minister Hassan Diab and three other officials in relation to the devastating port explosion in Beirut in August. Diab and his cabinet resigned after the explosion but have continued to serve in a transitional “caretaker” capacity.
