Federal judge temporarily blocks Biden administration moratorium on deportations
A federal judge temporarily blocked the Biden administration from enforcing a 100-day moratorium on certain deportations. The DHS announced the moratorium last week (citing a desire to “review and reset enforcement policies”), prompting a legal challenge from Texas. The judge’s injunction will remain in place for 14 days.
