Israel and Morocco form diplomatic ties

Israel and Morocco agreed to form diplomatic relations yesterday. The US-brokered deal makes Morocco the sixth Arab nation to form diplomatic ties with Israel, and the fourth to do so this year. As part of the deal, the US agreed to recognize Morocco’s sovereignty over the disputed Western Sahara region.
