Iran announced plans to increase uranium enrichment to 60% after an alleged attack on its Natanz nuclear facility on Sunday. The increase would mark the latest violation of the 2015 nuclear deal and bring the country’s enrichment level closer to weapons-grade (90%).
Extra: The announcement comes as the US and Iran indirectly begin negotiations related to the 2015 agreement, which the US withdrew from in 2018.
