House approves stopgap spending bill

The House approved a one-week government spending bill (343-67) yesterday ahead of a deadline tomorrow. The legislation is expected to be approved by the Senate (as soon as today), and will then go to President Trump for final signature. The temporary funding measure comes amid ongoing negotiations for a more extended government spending package (along with additional coronavirus relief).
