Houses passes short-term spending bill

The House passed a short-term spending bill last night (359-57) after lawmakers reached an agreement on issues including agricultural aid and nutrition assistance. If approved by the Senate and President Trump, the package will fund the government through December 11 (averting a potential shutdown next week).
