House passes coronavirus relief package
The House passed the new $1.9T coronavirus relief package in a party-line vote yesterday. The bill includes $1,400 payments to many Americans, enhanced unemployment benefits, increased child tax credits, support for vaccines and testing, and relief for state and local governments. President Biden is expected to sign the bill tomorrow, and stimulus checks are expected to begin arriving this month.
