Grand jury charges men with hate crimes over Ahmaud Arbery shooting

A grand jury charged three men with federal hate crimes and attempted kidnapping in relation to the death of Ahmaud Arbery, a Black man who was shot while jogging last year. A video of Arbery’s death was released last May, prompting widespread outrage and calls for the attackers’ arrests. The three men were subsequently charged with murder.
