Gotham Greens raises $87M
Indoor agriculture company Gotham Greens raised $87M of new funding. The company grows lettuce and spinach in 500k-foot greenhouses, which it says use 97% less land and 95% less water than convention farms. The announcement comes amid increasing competition in the indoor farming segment, including companies such as AppHarvest and Plenty Unlimited.
