Google announces new hardware including Pixel phone and Chromecast updates

Google announced a series of new hardware products yesterday, including updates to its Pixel smartphone line and a new Chromecast streaming device. The company also announced a new “Google TV” interface that aims to leverage the company’s search expertise to help users discover new content while using the new Chromecast device.

Extra: Google is the fourth major technology company to hold a hardware-focused event in the last month, joining Apple, Amazon, and Facebook.
