Google announces plans to run on carbon-free energy by 2030

Google announced plans to run entirely on carbon-free energy by 2030. The company also said that it has offset its entire carbon legacy, offsetting carbon emitted since the company was founded in 1998 through the purchase of “high-quality carbon offsets.”
