Goldman Sachs pled guilty to breaking a US anti-corruption law and agreed to pay $2.9B to settle charges related to the 1MDB scandal. The charges stemmed from the misappropriation of several billion dollars from the Malaysian sovereign wealth fund between 2009 and 2014.
