Georgia Senate runoff generates record fundraising
Fundraising for Georgia's Senate runoff set a new record in Q4, with the four candidates raising $342M combined and each candidate individually surpassing the previous record of $57M (set in South Carolina’s Senate race this year). Democratic candidates Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff raised $210M combined, while Republican incumbents Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue raised $132M. The runoff election is scheduled for January 5 and the outcome will determine which party controls the Senate.
