French authorities increase terror alert

French authorities raised the country’s terrorism alert level to its highest level after three people were killed at a church in Nice yesterday. The knife attack yesterday marks the latest in a series of violent attacks in France, including the separate killing of a teacher (who had shown caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad to his class earlier this month).
