Klarna raises new capital amid continued growth

Financial technology company Klarna raised $1B of new funding at a $31B valuation. The Sweden-based company provides a wide range of banking and financial services and is part of a rapidly growing segment of “buy now, pay later” providers that allow consumers to finance their online purchases. The funding makes Klarna the highest-valued private fintech company in Europe.
