6.2-magnitude earthquake hits Indonesia
A 6.2-magnitude earthquake hit in western Indonesia this morning, killing at least 34 people, injuring hundreds, and causing widespread property damage. The earthquake-prone region lies on the “Ring of Fire” along the Pacific rim (wiki).
