The Democratic Republic of Congo announced the end of its 11th ebola outbreak yesterday, six months after the first cases were reported in the Equateur Province. The recent outbreak was notably smaller than a widespread outbreak that began in 2018, due in part to the vaccination of over 40k high-risk individuals.
