The Justice Department announced the indictment of two ISIS members on charges relating to the hostage-taking and killing of four Americans as well as the death of UK and Japanese nationals. The two men (Alexanda Amon Kotey and El Shafee Elsheikh) were members of a cell known as the “Beatles” that was accused of the widely publicized and brutal killing of American journalist James Foley and three others. Kotey and Elsheikh have been in US custody in Iraq for the past year, and are expected to appear before federal court once they arrive in the US.
