DOJ files lawsuit against Facebook
The Justice Department filed a lawsuit against Facebook, alleging that the social media giant discriminated against US workers by favoring H-1B and other temporary visa holders for over 2,600 positions. The lawsuit follows a two-year DOJ investigation into Facebook’s hiring practices. A spokesperson for Facebook noted that the company disputes the allegations, but has cooperated with the DOJ in its ongoing review.
