Debate commission announces plans to adopt changes to upcoming debates

The Commission on Presidential Debates announced plans to adopt changes to the upcoming presidential debates in order to “ensure a more orderly discussion of the issues.” The statement followed the first presidential debate on Tuesday, which was marked by repeated interruptions and widely characterized as chaotic. The specific changes have not yet been released.
